The club's first team earned three Junior Olympic medals in four years, establishing a strong foundation. After expanding in 2008 and 2009, Michael Boehle and John Beckwith took over ownership in 2011, with Michael Boehle becoming sole owner and continuing the club's core values of developing not just better volleyball players, but outstanding, respectful young men doing things the 'right way.'

Key Achievements

First team earned three Junior Olympic medals in four years (2006–2010)

Luke Dallavo's 14s team: 1st place at AAU National Championships (2025), 2nd place at The Showcase (2025), 1st place at Pacific Classic (2025)

Luke Dallavo's 14s team: 3rd place at AAU National Championships (2024)

Parker Boehle's 18s team: Gold Medal (2025)

Parker Boehle as 17s coach: Silver Medal (2024)

Notable Alumni

Parker Boehle (UCSB)

Davis Boehle (UCSB)

Pepperdine NCAA Division 1 National Champion (Pepperdine University)

Parker Boehle (UCSB)

Davis Boehle (UCSB)

Leadership: Michael Boehle (Owner & Director; 18's Coach), Luke Dallavo (14's, 15's, 16's, and 12 Dev Coach), Parker Boehle (18's Coach), Davis Boehle (18's Coach)

Competitive Level: Competitive/Elite; teams compete at regional and national tournament levels including AAU National Championships, Junior Olympics, and showcase events.

Facilities: MB Surf primarily trains at American Martyrs Gym (701 15th Street, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266) and also uses Wiseburn Middle School (West 135th Street, Hawthorne, CA).
