VolleyLens is free to read because it carries advertising. To sell that advertising we work with Mediavine, an advertising network. When you visit the site, Mediavine and its partners may receive your IP address, device and browser information, general location, and a hashed form of your email address if you have given us one, and may use it to show you interest-based ads across other sites you visit.
Under California law that counts as “selling” or “sharing” your personal information, even though no money changes hands for the data itself. You can tell us to stop. We do not sell your personal information in any other sense — we do not provide your email address, account details, or player profile information to anyone for their own marketing.
The opt-out control is on this page once it loads. Turning it on stops personalized advertising on this device: you will still see ads, based on the page you are reading rather than on your browsing history. The choice is stored in your browser, so set it again if you clear your site data or use a different browser. No account is required — exercising a privacy right should not require handing over more personal information.
We recognize the Global Privacy Control signal and treat it as a valid opt-out request. If your browser or an extension sends it, you are opted out automatically, and this page confirms that we have honored it.

Personalized advertising is switched off entirely on youth player, team, club and player-directory pages, for everyone, regardless of the setting above — and individual minors’ profile pages carry no ad at all. That is not a preference you have to find and enable; it is how those pages are built.
