Bio

I'm Evan Riley, a left-handed opposite hitter from the Chicago area, Class of 2029. I play for MOD Volleyball's 15U Elite program and attend Stevenson High School. At 6'5" and still growing, I bring a physical profile that creates problems on the right side that right-handed opposites simply can't replicate. My left-hand cross-court attack angle and blocking reach at the men's net are the most visible parts of my game — but I'm equally focused on becoming a complete 6-rotation player. Last season with MOD 14U Blue I was part of the team that made the deepest national tournament run in program history. I train year-round with MOD Boys Programming Director Blake Orlov and work with the club's Hi-Performance program. My development focus right now is passing, arm action, and approach — the fundamentals that separate good opposites from great ones. I'm the only left-handed hitter in my program. I know what that means and I'm working every day to be worthy of it."
